[pas'ku̯iːni], Bernardo, italienischer Komponist und Organist, * Massa di Valdinievole (heute Massa e Cozzile, Provinz Pistoia) 7. 12. 1637, ✝ Rom 21. 11. 1710; war in Rom ab 1664 Organist an Santa Maria in Aracoeli, 1665-67 an Santa Maria Maggiore, daneben Cembalist und Kapellmeister des Fürsten G. Borghese; einer der bedeutendsten Virtuosen und Lehrer (u. a. von F. Durante, J. K. Kerll, J. P. Krieger, G. Muffat) seiner Zeit. Komponierte Opern, Oratorien, Kantaten; bedeutend sind seine Werke für Tasteninstrumente (Toccaten, Suiten).
